‘Pain Control Therapy’ as demonstrated on BBC TV ‘Your Life in Their Hands’.

The Clinical Use of Hypnoesitherapy is based on ‘Noesitherapy’ – or Healing by Thinking, pioneered by the famous Spanish Medical Physician and Surgeon, Dr. A. Escudero.

Since 1975 Dr. Angel Escudero has shared his experience with many thousands of medical professionals. He has run courses and seminars both in person and by video conference around the world, for health personnel, naturopaths, pregnant women and anyone who wants to know and learn the basics of Noesiology and Noesitherapy, which can be applied to all aspects of life.

Dr Escudero has been performing his surgical work on patients using psychological analgesia, with excellent results since 1972. His work has been documented via the media and various publications throughout the world. Dr. Escudero’s biography was included in the Biographical Dictionary of the History of Spain, published by the Royal Academy of History, in June 2011.

Dr Escudero may not be terribly well known amongst the general public; however, his work is better known and respected within the medical profession.

His work is based on the premise of ‘healing by thinking’ and that if we know our natural capabilities and use them correctly; this will permit human beings to improve the quality of their lives.

The method of psychological anaesthesia can work in a variety of other areas also, to include depression and anxiety – anything that can be ‘’felt’’. Taking control by using the mind is a preventative medicine. It gives back the power to the individual concerned. Combining psychological anaesthesia with hypnosis is proven to provide satisfactory results.

Before the invention of chloroform, operations in India had a mortality rate of around 50%. Dr. James Esdale, a British surgeon working in India in a prison hospital around 1845 used hypnosis to produce analgesia for major surgical operations. The death rate for his operations dropped to 5% from 50%. This technique was later referred to as ‘Mesmeric Analgesia’ or Hypnoanaesthesia. Esdale believed that the mind could do anything and that there were no limitations.

Combinations of these techniques are now used within the clinical and therapeutic arena in order to control pain and manage various other disorders. Hypnoesitherapy is safe and can be easily used alongside medical interventions.
